How I train you
Let me make something abundantly clear, right up front... there are NO perfect compensation plans (or pay plans), just plans that are better or worse than others. But there are some very clear warning signals attached to most compensation plans if you know what to look for. Sadly, very few people do, or they wouldn't work so hard, for so long, for so little money!

I look for plans with these features — minimum!

  • Minimum breakage to the company — caused by group volume qualifications and downline rank requirements.
  • Fair and balanced division of rewards — especially for part-timers (90% of all networks).
  • Genuine Fourth Generation principles and practices — I won't even consider anything less.
  • GUILT-FREE earning potential — no getting wealthy at the expense of your downline team.
  • No questionable business practices — like front-end loading, stacking, or other "black hat" tactics.
  • Your personal bonus percentage is not dependant on downline performance — no "double whammy" from a do-nothing downline team, where the bonus pool shrinks and your percentage shrinks with it.
  • No "smoke and mirrors" presentation tactics — focus on earnings reality, not just plan potential.

Guilt-Free Network Marketing!
Earn more, faster with fewer people

By the way, compensation (or pay) plans are NOT the same as business plans or marketing plans. A marketing plan is one of four sub-plans of a good business plans. And a compensation plan is one part of one of the SEVEN components of a typical marketing plan. So if you start referring to your company's compensation plan as a business plan or marketing plan, it's like the old fairytale about the sausage that thought it was the butcher. You may impress other ignorant, gullible or inexperienced people, but you'll just advertise your own ignorance and inexperience to anyone who understands business.

Something else you should understand about network marketing: the "distributor" network is nothing more than the company's outsourced sales force. Regardless of company posturing or claims, its true loyalty will always be to its owners (private or public — shareholders), NOT to its sales network.

You are NOT a true marketer. You are a seller. There's a HUGE difference. Any marketing is done by the company's marketing department, not by its sales network. Marketing is a discipline practiced by professionals with university degrees. It's a very young profession that began life as a subdivision of economics. It rose to prominence as a separate profession after World War II, mainly in the 1950s and 60s.

(Important: You can still learn to use marketing methods to improve your sales results, dramatically. In the free bonus report with the free Insight Report below, titled "How I Stopped Failing at Selling and Found Success with Marketing!", you'll discover my personal story of how, as a 20 year-old, newly-graduated teacher, desperate for fast cash at the worst time of the year — and trying to sell a product that nobody wanted — I managed to earn almost a year's teaching salary in just three days by changing my mindset, literally overnight.)

Selling, on the other hand, is the world's oldest profession. (Yes, even older than the other "world's oldest profession" — after all, somebody had to first make the sale!) So it was learned by long, hard, personal experience. Trial and error. And it was always done in a highly-emotional environment, face-to-face with prospective buyers. You can learn more about this difference (and why sellers continually use marketing terminology in all the wrong ways, with disastrous consequences) in my FREE Insight Report, "Is it Marketing? Or is it Selling? (And can YOU tell the difference?)".

How I Stopped Failing at Selling and Found Success with Marketing

Once you embrace these realities, you'll find you become much more focused and productive. Trying to avoid or evade them by pretending that you're a "marketer" or a "business owner" results in massive waste of time, effort and income by most rank and file sellers in network marketing. It's totally unnecessary!
